AEO Case Study: Increasing AI Visibility by 2,217.6% for US Market Entry

In this case study, we detail how we increased Vertice's AI visibility by 2,217.6% as part of its entry into the US market, competing with larger SIs with significant market presence and displacing the Big Four within our client's niche.

Client: Vertice

Service: Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO)

The Problem: AI Search Visibility

Oracle launched the Oracle AI Data Platform (AIDP) in Fall 2025, creating a significant opportunity in the enterprise technology market. Vertice, a specialist Oracle partner headquartered in Dublin with 16 years of delivery experience spanning data integration, analytics, AI, and cloud infrastructure, recognised it immediately. Their strategic goal was clear: to become the global leader in Oracle AI Data Platforms and use that position to expand into the US market.

Vertice brought both deep Oracle implementation experience and a first-mover advantage, becoming one of the first partners globally to deploy Oracle AIDP live in the market.

By every meaningful metric, Vertice is the global leader in Oracle AIDP. However, as they prepared to enter the US market, their visibility in AI tools didn't yet reflect that position. Across ChatGPT, Google's AI Overviews, Claude and other AI search tools, Vertice appeared in just 1.7% of AI-generated responses.

Instead, larger SIs with significant market presence and bigger marketing budgets (Accenture, Deloitte, PwC, Cognizant, KPMG, Infosys) were being recommended in their place.

The Solution: AEO Programme

Visibility Wins was brought in to close that gap through a structured Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO) programme, building Vertice's authority and discoverability across the ecosystem of sources that AI tools draw from.

Phase 1: AEO Audit and Gap Analysis

The programme started with a citation and gap analysis. Using an AI prompt-tracking tool to track AI responses across a bank of high-intent prompts, the team identified what content was being cited, what was driving competitor mentions, and where Vertice was missing.

Four findings informed the strategy that followed

  1. Vertice's AI visibility didn't reflect its authority. As one of the only partners with live Oracle AIDP deployments, Vertice held a genuine first-mover position, but that firsthand experience wasn't being surfaced by AI tools.
  2. There was a clear content gap around business outcomes. Content written in plain business language consistently outperformed deeply technical material, yet very little practitioner-led writing existed on the realities of live deployments.
  3. Oracle-owned properties carried the highest citation authority. This included the Oracle website and blog, the Oracle Partner Directory and individual partner pages, and Oracle's YouTube channel.
  4. Non-vendor sources were also heavily cited, particularly LinkedIn, YouTube, and industry directories.

Phase 2: Content Strategy and Production

Based on these findings, Visibility Wins built a 360-degree content presence targeting the channels and formats that AI tools were actively drawing on:

Website content

Vertice's website was rebuilt around three principles designed to maximise citation by AI tools:

  • Dedicated URLs. Unique service pages were created for each key service. This gave AI tools clear, specific sources to cite rather than forcing them to infer relevance from a broader services page.
  • Blogs built on real authority. Content was designed around Vertice's unique vantage point: established Oracle expertise combined with the lived realities of onboarding Oracle AIDP. Real case studies, links to Oracle-owned properties featuring Vertice, and additional deployment stories were layered in to build depth and specificity, creating legitimate E-E-A-T signals competitors couldn't easily replicate.
  • Easily extractable content. SEO fundamentals were combined with AEO best practices: clear headings, direct answers to high-intent questions, and structured formatting so each piece was optimised to be surfaced and cited by AI tools.

LinkedIn thought leadership

An executive thought leadership programme was launched for Vertice's key US executive, including long-form LinkedIn Pulse articles targeting key business-context topics. Syndicating blog content on LinkedIn increased the number of times Vertice was cited while also increasing the impact per piece of content.

Oracle Partner Finder

Vertice's partner page was refreshed to reflect all relevant services, case studies, and awards.

Third-party directories

Directories such as G2 were updated with services, case studies, and awards, to align third-party sources with the rest of the ecosystem.

The Results: 2,217.6% Increase in AI Visibility for US Market Entry

In 3.5 months, AI visibility increased from 1.7% to 39.4% across tracked prompts, a 2,217.6% improvement. Vertice's blog became the single most cited page in the entire dataset, appearing in 258 AI-generated responses, ahead of Oracle's own AIDP page at 166.

Key Metrics

  • Overall brand presence: 39.4% across 94 tracked prompts and 7 AI models, up from 1.7% at baseline. A 2,217.6% increase over the life of the programme.
  • Average position: #2.5. When Vertice appears, it appears near the top. Only Oracle itself (1.9) ranks higher on average. Vertice outranks Accenture (2.6), Deloitte (3.2), KPMG (4.1), and PwC (4.5).
  • Citation share: 7.7%. Vertice's website pages account for 7.7% of all URLs cited across AI responses, with 24 unique pages cited.
  • Sentiment: 83% positive, 17% neutral, zero negative. AI tools consistently describe Vertice in terms of specialism, delivery depth, and referenceable client work.

Priority Search Queries

Vertice now ranks in both Google and AI tools for priority search queries, including:

  • "Best Oracle AIDP implementation partner"
  • "Oracle AIDP implementation partner life sciences"
  • "Best Oracle AIDP implementation partner for pharma"
  • "Oracle AIDP implementation partner with life sciences case studies"
  • "Best Oracle AIDP implementation partner for healthcare"
  • "Oracle AIDP implementation partner with clinical experience"
  • "Boutique Oracle AIDP implementation partner"

Vertice entered the programme as a well-regarded Oracle partner preparing to expand into the US market. A 40-person specialist firm now appears alongside, and frequently ahead of, larger SIs with significant market presence in the AI-generated responses that enterprises use to shortlist implementation partners.
